Pig Out On These Fun Comics This National Pig Day
by The GoComics TeamThe porcine realm is one of corkscrew tails, floppy ears, occasional cute harnesses and -- why do we want to eat these things, again? 45 years ago the founding sisters of National Pig Day considered the same data and decided to "...accord the pig its rightful, though generally unrecognized, place as one of man's most intellectual and domesticated animals." If you grew up with movies like Babe, Gordy and of course Babe: Pig in the City, you likely have no argument against this holiday's mandate. If you're still on the fence about how cute -- uh, smart, we mean -- there seem to be copious feel-good articles about pig companionship to read at any given time. We suggest this one, and this one, and this one.
We also suggest reading these pig comics! The following entries from Pearls Before Swine, U.S. Acres and others will drive you... hog wild.
