Spring Forward With These Daylight Savings Time Comics
by The GoComics TeamThe drudgery of winter is such that it confounds the passing of time. Has it already been four months since we set our clocks back already? Maybe the better question is: who cares? Bring on spring!
Yes, welcoming an extra hour of sunlight every day will mean losing an hour of sleep tonight. But what's the point of waking up at all if we have to bear winter's icy shadow another minute?
Celebrate the conclusion of the annual punishment of permanight and revel in your body's ability to once again synthesize Vitamin D with these Daylight Savings comics. After you set your clocks forward. Be meticulous, too. It'll bug you to no end if your microwave and your oven aren't synched up perfectly.

Whatever happened to common sense? almost 8 years ago
The Non Sequitur strip gets it right. Nobody is gaining an extra hour of daylight. There is more sunlight this time of year because the Earth is tilted on its axis towards the Sun, not because the clocks were reset. You have merely been tricked into getting up an hour early and losing sleep.
The government has done a good job of brainwashing the general public. People now believe they possess magical clocks that can create longer days by resetting them every springtime.
Congress is responsible for this nonsense. Contact your representatives and tell them to put a stop to this senseless practice. Standard Time is the norm, and should be observed year-round. Employers should be encouraged to offer earlier starting and quitting times during the spring and summer months for those who wish to pursue that mythical extra hour of daylight.

I laughed so hard at the foxtrot comic that it brought tears to my eyes.
