Major Market Pulls A 'Ziggy'
by John GlynnWe're not exactly sure what was so inflammatory about this Ziggy, but it caused one market to ask for a replacement (and no it wasn't Butte, Mont.) We tried to assure them that there were no back-door shenanigans going on, but nonetheless our contacts at the newspaper were tight-lipped when we asked for an explanation.

Oh, well. We just LOL'd out loud and brushed it off.

Someone at the paper said, “His mouth is drawn to look like a sphincter.” Once it was said aloud, no one who heard could think of anything else.

It’s reading articles like this that make me believe that the human race has stopped evolving. This type of thinking belongs back in the Dark Ages.

Liberals at work. They can’t even leave the comics out of their control. Tough world isn’t it?

Maybe the cartoon reminded someone that this could possibly happen to them……or has happened to them already….lolol. Reminds me of how I must look in the morning…..lolol

The funniest part about this comic was that it happened to a friend of mine a few years ago. Now he never brushes his teeth without putting on his glasses.

My father did it with shaving cream and toothpaste! When he saw what he had done he reversed the two items and did it again!!!

Good Lord, what a thing to quibble over. Berke Breathed had Opus mistakenly brush his teeth with Preparation H more than thirty years ago.

Inflammatory? Just the opposite….

Ironic since newspapers have been shrinking the comics over the years.
