Write Off Tax Day With These Comics For Some Serious Stress Deductions
by The GoComics TeamNo, that's not a typo for "Taxi Day" on your calendar, it is, in fact, Tax Day in America. If you've filled out your mind-numbing forms or foisted copious amounts of cash on an accountant, then you're in the clear. For those of you feverishly fighting the clock to submit your returns to hit today's deadline... why not take a break?! It won't help you hit your deadline, but you will relate to them. And isn't that what life is all about? The human connections that tether us all, even in times of the greatest financial turmoil?
Haha, just kidding. We can just tell you're not going to finish either way, so enjoy these Tax Day comics and then file for an extension!

I got a return, and have gotten one every year. So the joke is on the government when it comes to my taxes.

Josh, so you give the government an interest free loan each year. Yes, the joke is on them. :)

if you mean a refund, it could mean you are overpaying taxes thru the year and are getting that money back, without interest of course

You should probably adjust your withholding to reduce the amount of taxes you pay through work. That way the government doesn’t get the use of your money free of charge. Until they give back your refund, they have an interest free loan.

I paid but not as much as last year. Need one less exemption to break even.
