Congratulations To Our 2016 NCS Reuben Award Nominees!

The National Cartoonist Society has announced its divisional nominees for the 2016 Reuben Awards and they're stocked with GoComics talent aplenty - in fact, GC creators swept several categories altogether!
Ruben Bolling (Tom the Dancing Bug), Michael Luckovich and Jen Sorensen were nominated for Editorial Cartoons.
Dave Blazek's Loose Parts, Nick Galifianakis' Nick and Zuzu and Mark Parisi's Off the Mark were nominated for Newspaper Panels.
Luke McGary (Lukey McGarry’s TLDR) and Dave Whamond (Reality Check) were nominated for Advertising/Product Illustration Work.
Maria Scrivan (Half Full) and Blazek were nominated under the Greeting Card category.
Online Comics - Short Form nominees include Sarah Andersen (Sarah's Scribbles), Bolling, and Dave Kellett (Sheldon).
Mike Lester, Mark Tatulli and Whamond all received nominations for the Book Illustration category.
Pickles by Brian Crane rounded out the massive GC creator presence with its nomination in the Newspaper Strips slot.
Winners will be announced on May 27th at the NCS Reuben Awards in Portland, Ore and we'll be following up in celebration.
