Oh Yeah! Kool-Aid Man Comics For Kool-Aid Day
by The GoComics TeamThough the Kool-Aid Man fought personifications of thirst in his very own Marvel Comics series circa 1983-1985, here in 2017 we rely on some slightly fresher drink mascot material to celebrate Kool-Aid Day.
Kool-Aid -- originally a liquid drink called "Fruit Smack" -- was invented by Nebraskan Edwin Perkins way back in the 1920s. He distilled the Smack into a fine powder after awhile to save money on shipping, changing its name to "Kool-Aid" and selling it himself until the product was purchased by General Foods in 1953. These days Kraft, AKA Phillip Morris owns it, meaning the tobacco giant owns a borderline addictive powder that was once called Smack... Kismet? Who knows? All we can tell you is these comics feature Kool-Aid Man in a variety of hilarious situations. Drink 'em up, below!

I hate Kool-Aid. Does nobody else notice that in the commercials it says that it has 50% percent less sugar than leading SODAS, when it’s supposed to be competing against JUICES, like Caprisun.

Kraft hasn’t been part of Philip Morris for 10 years. It’s now owned by Heinz (ketchup company).

When visiting a cult camp, beware, no matter how friendly they seem.
