11 Comics Summing Up Mixed Back-To-School Emotions
by The GoComics TeamFor kids around the country, Labor Day weekend signals the end of summer and the beginning of nine months of pencils, books, and teachers' dirty looks. Or not! We live in the future. For a lot of kids, a new school year means nine months of iPads and virtual reality. And maybe their teacher is a kindly robot, too? Things are a lot different since I graduated.
No matter how much things change, though, kids still have to give up the freedom of summer and trek to a classroom. Teachers, too. Going back to school is simply a big shift in routine. Even if they live for academia, there's still a rule-laden routine and stacks of social scenes to navigate. It's a lot to juggle from morning until late afternoon.
Celebrate the never-ending mixed emotions of a new school year with these 11 back to school comics.
