10 Sweet French Toast Day Comics
by The GoComics TeamIt's amazing how delicious stale bread can be. Indeed, National French Toast Day is a testament to human innovation, as it transmutes old bread into a confection for the ages with the aid of beaten eggs + milk or cream + any combo of sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, or vanilla. Yes, it's slightly more laborious to prepare than pancakes, but the results are worth it when you're soaking the pan-fried slices of heaven in maple syrup. Top the whole thing with some powdered sugar and you may momentarily forget that you could've just popped some frozen waffles in the toaster, instead.
Read our collection of 10 French toast comics -- a testament to the versatility of toast -- but don't blame us if you're tempted to ditch today's meal plan and scarf down the good stuff all day.
