Happy 100th, Charles Schulz! Here's How GoComics Creators Paid Tribute to Sparky
by GoComics TeamThe great cartoonist who we can thank for Charlie Brown and friends would have turned 100 this past Saturday, November 26.
Charles M. Schulz, who his friends called Sparky, started "Peanuts" in 1950, and the comic strip continues to be syndicated in the nearly 23 years since his passing.
This weekend, several GoComics cartoonists honored Schulz with tribute comic strips. Highlights include Lucy's infamous psychiatric help booth ("Non Sequitur"), Schroeder hunched over his piano ("Close to Home"), the iconic football gag ("Tank McNamara"), and plenty more Sparky Easter eggs.
