It’s funny how conservative Apocalyptic believers blame everything they don’t “believe” in on liberals. If conservatives had their way, children would still be working in factories and coal mines, women would still be property, most of us would be slaves and no modern medicines, no social security, no nothing except poverty, disease and early death. Conservatives held sway in Western civilization from the collapse of the Roman Empire until 1500 brutal years had passed. This period is known as “The Dark Ages.” Then liberals began to liberate human kind. Many of them got burned at the stake for their troubles.When did an ultra-liberal like Jesus get to be the darling and god of the conservative bunch anyway?

Jesus an ultra-liberal? I don’t think so; there’s nothing in the Bible that says he believed that more government was the answer to society’s great problems. Nor was he conservative. But radical? You better believe it! To think he believed that we should love others as we do ourselves and that we should personally take care of widows and orphans. Two thousand years later, people (and I’m point the finger at myself) still have a problem embracing ideas like those and following through.

Humans can and have damaged our ecosystem. No other species could have done that.

Just how blind can you be!? Have you never seen what beaver does?Also, almost all species go through periods of population boom and devastate the ecosystem. Eventually, they die back and the environment recovers.

The art in Outland was atrocious, but occasionally the brilliance of the social commentary was still there.
