I look down at a strange new world
With bathrobe ’round me half-unfurled,
With lack of motive, lack of time,
With lack of reason, lack of rhyme.
In times that I once thought I ruled,
I learned how badly I had fooled
Myself in thinking I couldn’t be stopped…
And now this tree is newly topped.
I too question the mug. Why bother? Let it rain.
Beer for breakfast?
There once was a man in a tree
Who had nowhere else to pee.
He took out a cup
And filled the thing up…
And later forgot it’s not tea.
Ruminations with Rosebud, by Steve Dallas, Esq., a.k.a. “Chester Molester,” on the New World Order of things for his ilk….
…Why am I able to fully stand up in the top of a tree?
The gals better have umbrellas.
Looks like a cat on his mug. Garfield, perhaps?
