Steve is not much of value, but it isn’t nice, Oliver, to do this to him! The feds will throw his sorry behind into max security somewhere and leave him to rot!

I remember this one. Steve goes into the “hacker tank” where he is the only adult.

If you throw a wuss like Steve Dallas into a prison filled with actual criminals would it be classified as a conjugal visit?

This cartoon bring up a point that has been bothering me. We know that hackers, from around the world, hack into government computers over and over again whether they are treasury, defense, homeland security, intelligence, etc., etc. Now, the government want us to submit all our health records to them. If we do that there is no question that our records will be hacked and the stolen data used for evil purposes. Can anyone give me a logical reason for wanting give my personal health information to a government who can’t even safeguard their own defense and intelligence information?

He could’ve identified himself as “Mac Intosh” and they would’ve fallen for it.

Of course, in the real world they would’ve found him by tracing the signal and his house would soon be surrounded, regardless of what name he used. But hey, it’s a comic strip.

jrbj: I’m not much worried about my health information getting out. What I am worried about is when we VOTE over the internet.

Ray C: How about whenever we Vote, and however those votes are cast (I’m in favor of paper, usable for a real recount), those ballots go downtown or to the county seat, where the inner sanctum of the Tabulating-Machine Corporation (staffed with convicted felons) is sealed from public scrutiny.

Trust Us! We’ll take care of it!

Uncle Joe Stalin was right; “It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the votes!”

Sherlock: OWJ would easily have had 30 mins to get to the terminal cabinet and pull the jumpers wires from the “66” block connecting his line to Steve’s.
