Wow. that’s the most coherent political speech I’ve heard since the King of Id gave his last one, earlier this year. (He managed to use English words, however.)
Esperanto should be so Jello-like. It’s so over-regularized in its grammar and euphonics that it’s no wonder it never really caught on as a working language. Klingon will catch on as a world language before Esperanto will.
Offhand I’d say Opus was reciting Vogon poetry. You know, the third worst poetry in the Universe, according to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy… :))
“Oh freddled gruntbuggly/thy micturations are to me/As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes. And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon, see if I don’t!”
Or Bush and his teleprompter addiction. Or Palin and her hand addiction. Or Reagan or any president since the thing was invented. Obama probably uses it more since he’s concerned with actually making sure he uses the language correctly. He gets misquoted enough as it is.
Hay I bet he was using a teleprompter for that comment full of innanity !
Don’t get ticked at us because your elected high mucky muck can’t memorize his long winded rhetoric it just means hes (gasp!!!) human.. and not the next coming of the messiah.
Don’t remember that one but I do reall the episode Meet John Brain where our erstwhile candidate had some teleprompter issues while trying to mesmerize the Voters ..lol

Teleprompter problems evidently have a long history. Anyway, I endorse the policy of ”Piffoo blaboo”!

And let’s not forget how Ronnie would stop talking every time Nancy drank a glass of water.
As for teleprompter hijinks, has anyone here seen the Pinky and the Brain episode “The Pink Candidate”?

When Reagan used a teleprompter it was ok. This is different with Obama because….
Can somebody help me with that?

Too bad Opus didn’t the Sarah Palin Method, then he could just wing it.
