So, Opus experiences stage fright, eh? Don’t we all, at least the first time out? Mostly, however, we are not as hilarious as he is….

Perhaps it’s better that none of it’s getting through the heavy metal music, anyway. But…don’t tell poor Opus! All that struggle to find out no one’s hearing it anyway!

In my state we say the senatorial candidate “Misspoke”.

It’s funny that this comic was originally printed BEFORE Bush Jr’s terms in office. Opus here reminds me of Mr. Couldn’t-Even-Read-From-A-Teleprompter-Without-Embarrassing-The-Entire-Nation.

He-Man, have you listened to the current President speak without his teleprompter? He’s not exactly William F. Buckley either.

I would vote for him for no other reason than this speech. Shows he’s more human than most of the bloodsucking politicians we have now…and he’s a penguin.

Oh, he’s much closer to Buckley and his temperment than you folks would like to admit, nola.

Notice in the second panel after he say “ladies” he begins his “er…uh…” stuff. Perhaps he should change his intro to just good evening or afternoon or morning.
