delorean is crap. the guy is a great con man, but the cars are crap. build a car factory in n ireland, bilk maggie thatcher out of hundreds of millions, get caught on fbi tape with coke, and put your crappy car in back to the future…brilliant.
Gorgeous stainless steel skin covering an anemic V-6 motor sourced form Renault, among others. Plus those doors leaked. All things that might have been rectified in time had DeLorean the man not been a slimeball.
What are you talking about! When the cars go out of fashion just drive back in time and sell ’em! ;) Jumping on the “this-car-is-crap” bandwagon – what engineer or designer ever thought that doors that pop out was a good idea?? Not only do you need enough road to get up to 88 mph, but you need 2-3 parking spaces for everybody to get out of the car. :/
