I remember one time when my mother was putting laundry away in my brother’s room. She found a baggie of white powder on his closet shelf. She waited until my brother got home then, calmly, asked him about the powder. Laughing, my brother reminded her that she had told him that a good thing to use when he had problems with chaffing…was baking powder! 40 years later, we’re STILL laughing about it.
