I am about midway through Sagan’s “Dragons of Eden”.

I laughed at the punchline of this old comic. Still funny.

Sagan once told Johnny Carson that he would never say “billions and billions” because it’s “imprecise.”

I think the whole topic of Penguins, whether evolutionary or scientifically penguistic, was missing from the curriculum when I was in school. I must have been the victim of some vast scholastic conspiracy, involving billyuns and billyuns of anti-penguin Know Nothings!
