At least he isn’t personally insulting the people who enjoyed the bad movie anyway… you hear that, internet? Stop that!

I remember the movie review given in the local alternative weekly for Porky’s Revenge, back in the day. It was very succinct: “FOR SUBHUMANS ONLY.” And that was it.

I still quote this review for relentlessly mediocre films.

kind of like a Trump’s version of the"Apprentice"

My favorite movie review of all time was for the movie “Transylvania 6-5000”, by Leonard Maltin. The entire review was just him, smiling at the camera, kind of bopping along as the song “Pennsylvania 6-5000” played in the background. At the part when the words of the song were supposed to be, he said, “Transylvania 6-5000…stinks!” That was the entire review.

This is the first Bloom County strip i remember to have read in my childhood.

Nothing is more irritating than a critic who equivocates….
