Is racism any different when a white girl will not date a certain boy because he is black or because he is white. I seem to be seeing more and more white girls that will only date boys of African decent rather than their own race. Just wondering if that is also called racism.

I tried to date a few black girls. One of them said she wouldn’t go out with a white guy. Still, I’ve told my current wife it Halley Berry shows up…

My first true love was a black girl named Angela. She pretty much chose me. I never had the courage to make the first move. We dated on and off from 8th grade through high school. My mom absolutely adored her, hoped we would marry.

Our personalities were both a little too sharp edged. It wouldn’t have worked and we both knew it. No regrets mixed with woulda coulda shoulda. 40 years and we still talk know and then. Deep sigh.

My mother ended up standing with her father at her wedding. Her mother was a racist to the nth degree and refused to attend. Big Willy walked her down the aisle and handed her off to Bob (her mother called him “that white man” for at least ten years after) and then sat down on the bride’s side in the front row next to my lily white mom. You should have seen the necks twist and pop.

The world can be an ugly place, yet it is still filled with beauty and wonder.

I think the biggest handicap between Blinkley and the girl would not be racial, but cultural. She is from the West Coast and he is from Middle America. There is a wide gulf in values and experiences.

I don’t care what color a person’s exterior skin is we all have the same color of insides and if he/she is cute and you like each other who care what the exterior looks like.

I’ve dated ‘white’ girls, ‘black’ girls, a ‘brown’ Indian girl from Trinadad, a ‘yellow’ Oriental, a ‘red’ indigenos native. They were all very sweet. My dad approved of them all.
