1984 was a prediction too-early. Big Brother happened 10 to 15 years later when Amazon and Google were founded (although Microsoft got a good head start).
“Hey Fred, there’s a guy over on Go-Comics that just revealed our ‘little secret’.”
“Don’t worry man. Nobody cares any more.”
“Oh, right…”
