dbig…i don’t see how that would have anything to do with his faith…probably more for his safety than anything. i can see the newsreels now…physicist turned fielder beaned in the head by pop fly while daydreaming about quantum mechanics…
I doubt if there is a player anywhere that the Yankees would consider to be to high priced. If Albert had been holding out for more money the Yankees would have just upped their bid until no one else could afford him because baseball does not have substantive revenue sharing. Thank you George Steinbrenner
As AE’s pitch approached c, the ball’s mass would approach infinity, making it imossible to hit (broken bats)and, unfortunately, impossible to catch (killing the catcher, umpire, and fans seated behind home plate). A sports tragedy!
frank are you still here? for some reason i get the strips late in the day. this way i allways feel that anything i post is just for my ventlation only. oh well be seeing you in the funny papers.

Why would think that was something that needed to be thought let alone put in writing?

The real problem was that Einstein had a hot glove, but no stick.

@frumdebang… very true, but i also think with a little work, his pitches could have approached light speed…provided he got the math right…

Einstein was a theoretical physicist. He’d let others do the experiments with balls and bats.

would the yankees have a big enough hat for einstein’s hair?
