I realize this is an older strip and I’m a bit late (I sometimes choose my favorite strips and start at the beginning), but a little banana related trivia. A truckload of bananas, due to their high potassium content, will trigger RadNet (nationwide environmental radiation monitoring system) on occasion, depending on the freshness and potassium richness of the fruit. Yep, potassium is radioactive. Food for thought… pun intended.
