True Story…..Last Christmas Day the lake in front of my house was frozen over and perfectly smooth. Plus, there was no snow on it. I was an avid hockey player before I retired, and I just couldn’t resist the temptation to go for a skate. Long story short….fell through about fifty feet from shore. The water was less than four feet deep, but I was alone and had to save myself. Having a dip in ice cold lake water is no fun….if I hadn’t saved myself, my credit score wouldn’t matter anyway.
