Is the teller trying to be kind, or imply that Jane is a sucker?
A doctor visit is definitely a “rough patch” for a kid and the kid gets a lillipop, so why can’t she have a lollipop for her rough patch too?
My drive up teller only gives dog biscuits
She might at least have made it something chocolate. A woman always needs chocolate!

Should’ve given her a bigger lollipop. Then she would be a full, all-day sucker!
Like Bank Tellers have various sized lollies and chocolates lying around. Try and do something nice, and all you get is lip.
