Let’s just call it “The Teen Years.” I’m going through it with my kids right now, too. Fortunately, they’re boys. I can even still get the High Schooler to grunt “Love you too,” some days.

The “Mama Curse” works. I hope your kids grow up to act just like you.

It’s amazing how many people are now discovering that the cycle of life also includes the cycle of growth with their children. They are just reliving it on the other side.

If you work it right, they’ll think you can read minds!

I was a contractor doing a job at a large factory. While eating lunch, I overheard one woman about the same age as me complain to her friend, about her daughter wanting a tatoo. When I asked why the daughters form of rebelion was any worse than our form of rebelion, the woman replied that tatoo’s are permanent. I responded that children born from the sexual revolution were permanent, she said OH, thats where my daughter came from. I’d be willing to bet that her daughter got her tatoo.

Definition of a teenager: Take the Terrible Twos, multiply by eight, and add a driver’s license.
