Jane, you are turning forty, not seventy. For that matter, my parents are in their seventies, and I definitely don’t see them as being in their “twilight years.” They can outwork me, my spouse, and my teens any day of the week.
While I understand the desire to do something “dumb” on occasion I never got further along to “dumb and life threatening”. Probably why I ended up in Risk Management as part of my profession.

I still ride my motorcycle now, at 75, but I had to quit Karate last year because I tore too many muscles.
