Caesar: Hmm... Huey: I was personally thinking how six months from now all those mail-order flags that you can attach to your car window will be collecting dust in basements alongside people's Rubik's Cubes. How "God Bless America" and "United We Stand" may become post-modern incarnations of "Where's the Beef?" Caesar: "Where's the beef?" Huey: A mid-eighties rallying cry in response to some kind of national fast-food tragedy. Very weird...

“Where’s the Beef” officially jumped the shark when Walter “Fritz” Mondale used it in his Presidential campaign.

This idea was covered in The Boondocks episode Its Going Down. Basically showing how Americans love to make business out of tragedy. Even going out of their way to cause tragedy JUST for business.
