Woman: Excuse me, young man, would you like to help me carry my groceries? Huey: Do I look like a pack mule? Your request insults me. Woman: Great! And there's twenty dollars in it for you once you're done. Huey: So? Didn't you hear? I ain't doin' it. Woman: Splendid. Now, are you Huey or Riley? I just can't tell... Huey: Huey! We don't all look alike, you know! Woman: You say you want a bike? Well, you can always ask Santa... Huey: I'm outta here...

I worked at a Food Lion when I was a teenager, where there was an old lady who would come in every week. She never remembered where anything was so I basically followed behind her helping her shop, then I would load her groceries into a car. She would tip me exactly $3, every time.
Four years later I’m shopping at Wal-Mart when I bump into the same lady. She asks me to direct her towards the fluorescent bulbs, even though I am not a Wal-Mart employee. I tell her this, but she tells me I’m wrong because she saw me wrangling carts last week. So I spend the next 20 minutes helping her shop, loading her stuff into the car, and she gives me exactly $3, which I tuck into one her shopping bags while she gets into her car. I haven’t seen her since.

It is so refreshing to find that there are still some nice folks in the world.
