I’m not sure how I feel about this whole series of strips – I was raised of the generation that was not critical of the form of charity and appreciated it as something that wasn’t an entitlement. The idea that what people give as a volunteer should be the basis of some form of external judgment or judgment by the receiver of the charity feels problematic.
