Teacher: Did you just say you wanted to get paid to do a homework assignment? Riley: It's all about the cheddar in '99 - I thought you knew. Teacher: Young man, homework is not a job. It's part of the learning process. Riley: A paper on what I did this summer? I already know what I did this summer. If you wanna know, you gotta pay up. Teacher: You will do the paper or receive a failing grade. Understood? Riley: Not really. I don't understand the language of people with short money.

Maybe Riley would understand Granddad coming up to the school with his belt and giving Mr. “Wannabe Gangster” a whuppin’ in front of the whole class!

Reminds me of the many times that an instructor would get an idea from a student and use it in a paper and not credit that student, but the professor would get credits for publications and one more notch toward tenure…

I had a math teacher who would just throw us out the window if we mouthed off like that. We were on the third floor. Ahh… The good ol’ days…
