Huey: (Sigh) Martin Luther King Jr. day - when America takes a brief moment to pretend it truly cares about integration, nonviolence and radical harmony. TV: I have a dream today... Granddad: OK, but you don't ever even pretend like you care about those things... TV: When all of god's children, black men and white men... Huey: OK, true... But at least I get points for consistency. TV: Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, we are free at last!!

Huey would never pretend that he admires Dr. King. Dr. King is one of his many idols and Huey’s goal is continue the ideals that he helped spread for the world.

Grandad was there when Dr. King was leading the Civil Rights Movement. He was also part of the Montgomery Bus Boycott Committee and to this day, he still has a grudge against Rosa Parks for allegedly “stealing” his limelight.
