Caesar: I don't understand. If he's running for President, how come I've never heard of him and the race is almost over? Huey: It's the system, man... The campaign rules are set up by the same two corrupt parties Nader is trying to run against. From what I've read, he seems much sharper than Gore or Bush, but they won't give him a fair chance to be heard... Caesar: Man, a brotha just can't get a break... Huey: Hey - believe it or not, he's white!

Our system is so unbelievably broken.

Yes, I remember when we thought a third-party candidate could win, or at least not lead to an electoral meltdown in Florida, of all places. (sigh)

Ralph Nader is the reason why the US got George W. Bush. Nader got just enough votes in just enough critical states to tip the electoral college to Bush… even though Gore won the popular vote. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000_United_States_presidential_election
Subtract Nader and Gore wins the electoral college and the election.
I suspect that President Gore would have taken bin Laden a whole lot more seriously than President Bush. No further comment.
