Set aside the woke/non-woke situation and look at what’s happening with the company as a whole. The parks are doing fairly well but the other entertainment is not. The strikes are crippling any and all production of anything new for on air and streaming, shutting down and delaying production on their cash cows of “Star Wars” based programming, the crazy situation in Lucasfilm with projects cancelled and reinstated and recancellled and their censorship of Bluey and refusal to release the last 15 episodes of season 3 in the USA which the rest of the world has seen for about a year. And don’t try me started on the streaming situation and perceived lack of profitability in that market. And why does Mr Iger need to be a billionaire?

I’ll let you in on a little secret: Main Street is “woke”. The average person is perfectly fine with equal rights for black folks, gay marriage, and abortion. It’s only dog whistle politicians appealing to the most extreme of their base, and psychotic man-child billionaires, who aren’t.
