Typical, here they are wasting their time with minor infractions when they should be doing something about all the congestion and accidents over by the porchlight…

Jazzily, I didn’t know that only certain areas had fireflies. What a shame. We had fireflies in Texas, but I actually don’t recall seeing them in other states I have lived in.

I never saw fireflies growing up in FL - when we went to visit some people in PA that was the first time. It was a lot of fun chasing after them. I don’t think I’ve seen them in GA.

I have seen them myself…when I was 10, I used to see when I lived in Savannah, then five years ago when I moved to Dacula, GA (Northeast of Atlanta). I don’t see any of them here in Clayton County.

We have ‘em in my Minneapolis suburb - we live along a creek. I love watching them. No better place than up north along Canadian border - right outside the cabin window, tho. I’ll miss the resort this summer, but the baby will be here soon!

Nothing like a field full of fireflies on a summer evening.

fireflies definately look way different than that in real life, and it makes me sad :(
