Wild Turkeys are pretty smart. Talk to any hunter. Ben Franklin suggested the American Turkey as our national bird pointing out that eagles are scavengers and steal food from each other. Domestic Turkeys are a different story. Like Hollywood stars, bred for show, not for go. :-)
