This is the second comic today that reminded me of “The Flintstones.” Here I’m thinking of the episode where the Great Gazoo zaps the gang into a Jetsons-like future, and Fred discovers that the company he works for is still in business. There’s a picture of Fred’s boss, Mr. Slate, on the wall, with the “Our Founder” plaque, and the current boss (who looks and sounds exactly like the original) identifies himself as George Slate the 80,000th, a direct descendant of the founder.
