We happen to know that your husband is a very successful dentist who specializes in braces and orthotics. We also know that you’re working here because you get bored at home, and can’t stand how your kids have turned out.

If you’re depending on tips for dentistry, your daughters are staying with crooked teeth.

Like she is going to report all of her tips anyway.

In my experience in the food service industry, while most tipped employees will earn roughly $20/hour in tips, if they do their job right, they will only report enough to reach the current minimum wage (federal, state, or local depending on where they work). Thus, over half of their income is not taxed for FWH, SWH, FICA, or Medicare.

I still feel restaurant employees should earn better base pay and eliminate tipping. I would happily pay more for food for this to happen.
