I went camping with a group once upon a time…one of the guys thought it would be a good idea to keep his feet warm by heating a rock in the fire before bed and then putting it on top of his sleeping bag. Kinda got melted.
On cold mornings while sitting at my computer desk, I turn our Electric oven on which is located about 8 feet away from where I sit. I leave the door open and within about 15 minutes our kitchen and my work area are nice and warm. The whole toaster thing though is not really a good idea.
I’ve heard of a Japanese invention that is basically a smallish square table covered with a heavy blanket with a heater below, so that when you stick your feet underneath, it’s all toasty and warm. Sounds lovely for the winter.

His feet are going to be really warm as soon the toaster set the bed on fire.

At least it’s not a space heater.

Hey, if it works and it’s not a fire hazard… (it is a fire hazard. Don’t do this kids!)

Dude, they do make foot warmers that are much safer and work fairly well.

Google ‘antique bed warmers’. They’re meant to hold hot coals from the fireplace, but you remove them before getting into bed.

I hope you have a fire extinguisher nearby. You’re likely to set the bed linens on fire.
