My buddy bought a house on a golf course we would be partying and an occasional golf ball would land on the roof and we would hear it rolling back down the grade and land in the gutters crazy stuff .

To earn a bit of extra money I would house sit for an older couple who had a house on the golf course near the 14th tee. It had a nice view and was pretty quiet depending on how much alcohol the golfers had on board by the time they got to that hole. Then it would get noisy as it also did when the frequent tournaments were held. The couple enjoyed the antics, but it sure wasn’t for me.

What gets me is people who buy a house on the golf course and then constantly complain about golf balls landing in their yard. I just wonder what they were expecting?

My folks lived at the local Country Club greens, well, they would get golf balls in the pool all the time.

Tempered safety glass instead of plate glass should have been used. It will usually withstand a golf ball impact.

That only happened to my family once, but I think it was vandalism.

I live in a community that has a golf course. And people who live around the golf course complains about golf balls breaking their windows. It’s like you move there knowing that it’s a strong possibility but yet you complain.
