I don’t recalls seeing any other daily funny comic which is drawn so splendidly with such three dimensional depths and details created on two dimensional paper.
The perspectives are so accurate that it looks realistic, like a cartoon world with realistic three dimensions. He achieves this with realistic perspectives and shading. Foxo Reardon was not only great at gags without any character saying a word, but he was also a very talented artist. I don’t thinks I has seen a more complete package in a cartoonist who proved without a shadow of a doubt that a picture speaks a thousand words.
And Foxo’s times with Bozo is considered as a golden age of comics, and Bozo is doubly golden for silence is golden.
Once again, a big thumbs up and a big round of applause for Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece, the picturesque pantomime called Bozo, a true classic, a rare and pure pantomime platinum of a golden age.
Even though I recognize that Bozo is a pretty unique strip and not to all tastes, I love it and t is amazing it has so few followers.I would recommend it to my friends….if I had any!
1) Very Important Deposit: Big fanfare for Bozo bringing his savings to the bank in an armored car and guard escort. He takes out his childhood piggybank to the teller. The guards are open mouthed over it.
2) Well What Do You Know?: At a well Bozo gets a drink but finds a note telling him “NO TRESSPASSING” much to his chagrin. Who could it be? Too early for C.H.U.D.s.
3) Let Me: Wide areas of muddy water. To aid a woman Bozo calls a cab lets her in then walks through and gets out the other side. What a guy!
A ladies, for-the-pocketbook, silver wallet was handed down to me. It’s cool. Here’re a couple pics. Take a look: https://i.ibb.co/X7x29qt/8-FB58-E27-4906-4-A2-D-8295-F29-EFEB8611-A.jpg

1 Bank teller is not the least bit surprised, happens all the time.
2 That should save Lassie some trouble.
3 Most cabbies would still charge a minimum mileage fee.
