1. Bozo not want ride in something more patched than himself.
2. When Bozo realise he not had enough money to buys a bullet.
3. Water you trying to do, Bozo, has a bath? Hee hee.
…
And so, another Woenessday is turned into a wonderful Wednesday thanks to these fabulous fun funnies by the fabulous FoXo Reardon.
For those who come in late, FoXo Reardon a tremendously talented master cartoonist whose BOZO never needed words to tell his funny tales. Not a character says a single word ever but all the funnies is conveyed through awesome artwork alone.
An especially excellent epitome of picture speaking thousand words, every panel of BOZO is like a photograph of a three dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details.
FoXo a rare talent who not only had sharp wits but also splendidly skilled in artwork, both these qualities is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist. Not only the gags are witty and genuinely genius, they are also excellently executed with awesome artwork with delightful details.
Fabulous FoXo’s brilliant BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning. FoXo’s work quality only kept improving despite his health diminished with cancer, and he kept making BOZO till his end days even while losing an eye. A true sign of a true master and professional. More about FoXo in the About tab above, friends.
So it no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many more!
…
And yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master cartoonist FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever enjoyable ever excellent evergreen entertainer, BOZO!
1. Patch Pals know each other too well. It would be testing Fate.
2. The better part of valor is discretion. Your honor is intact. And so is your body.
3. This has actually happened to me, well, I did it to myself. … when I was about nine years old. It ruined the cigar I snitched from my father. He laughed. I didn’t. At the time.
Foxo Reardon was a great storyteller of his own experiences. He told of going to the courthouse as a young cartoonist with his drawing utensils. He drew laughter for being there at his age, but after those same persons saw him drawing pictures in court and the quality of his work, he was addressed as “sir” and gained respect from the onlookers. (Quoted from my book, "Whistling Down the Halls: the Times and Cartoons of America’s Original Pantomime Comic Strip Artist.) M Reardon, son of Foxo.
1) DIGNITY: Bozo in his poor phase wears patched clothes needs a ride. He refuses to ride in a patched-up car!
2) DUEL: Bozo in a duel to the death over what? Bozo doesn’t think he is resiliant enough to be bullet proof despite his great strength. So, he keeps walking then running to escape!I guess in Bozo’s world duels exist and still use live ammunition.
3) CONTROL: Bozo makes and elementary error. He turns the water on hard and fails to get the hose in time, so he sprays himself soaked!
