Oddly enough, Whiskers was never afraid of the vacuum. He would even let me lightly run the brush attachment over his furs!

My vacuum cleaner gave Onyx super powers. She was able to defy gravity and run on the walls.

Right before I start, I tell my two fur babies, “time to hide”. They know what that means. Also, when I start moving things off the floor is also a big clue.

http://www.breakingcatnews.com/comic/vacuum-cleaner-preparedness/ A sequel from last February in Past Reports on the BCN website. I highly recommend the comments under it (all 100 of them!)

This, of course, is the reason why I run the vacuum as little as absolutely possible . . . of course . . .

I had two cats that gained a superpower way back in 1992 when a bolt of lightning hit right next to our house (fried the TV). Both cats learned how to teleport.

Our Katie loved to be vacuumed, especially having her tail sucked into the tube. She used to follow me around and meow until I vacuumed her.

It will either run out of floor or run out of cord. Either way, hang on, kitties!

Jingle Belle Katt never exactly fled from the vacuum cleaner. She would perch on a chair or other raised surface and watch it until it came too close, then move to a different perch and continue watching. I never tried to vacuum her, though—I don’t think she’d have held still for that.
