Boy, is he going to be surprised!

What a fertile imagination Ms. Dunne has. Just looking at those mail carriers of other cultures makes me want to have the backstory of every one of them. I’m imagining a world where the characters are franchised to Gail Simone, but supervised by Georgia Dunne, as a super hero team.

I wish they didn’t either, Elvis, especially in December.

So, in the final panel, has Elvis performed the “drop the mic” gesture? And did he drop his pointer too?

I love the chart in the third panel, especially the one of the mailman with eagle’s wings. At first, I thought that meant that in some parts of the world mailmen are considered angels.

I’m pretty sure Elvis is right, but even if he isn’t, his firm scepticism (or skepticism in his part of the world) is the right attitude. Don’t believe it until you have solid evidence.

According to Breaking Dog News, mailmen are shy people. No matter how many times Dog News journalists chase them for an interview, they always run away from it…

Elvis, why didn’t you use your pointer in panel 2? And of course, we want to know how Pucky’s vigil is going.

Anyone else have the desire to write mailman/cat fanfic?

Very nice to come home from work yesterday to find a certain calendar on the porch. I’m resisting the urge to open it and go over every month’s page now.

My boys will often watch the mail carrier (it’s usually a woman) walk up the driveway to put stuff in the mailbox however they’re not so keen on the parcel delivery people

A study shows that when dogs bark at the mailman (guarding their territory) they are always psychologically rewarded ( mailman goes away), so they keep doing it every day.

Cats in the U.K. have a better relationship with “posties”. Postman Pat and his black and white cat had their own cartoon show in the 80s and 90s. The Royal Mail used to budget for a post office cat in every city.

My cats and dog LOVE all delivery drivers. Catnip and toys show up in boxes left by delivery drivers so the cats wait for delivery trucks. Every 2 months a man in a white van shows up and comes into my house with a bag of dog food and fills up the food bins and leaves bags of treats then he plays frisbee with the dog before leaving. What’s not to love about that delivery guy. You just have to have the right attitude about the delivery people and what they are delivering. As a bonus every box is an adventure.
