Cats know that humans control the weather, and for reasons that are utterly impenetrable to catkind.
Every time it rains, my ferals give me the skunk-eye because, clearly, I am responsible for it, and they can see no reason why I would do such a thing.
Haha! Love that whoosh look to Lupin’s fur! And I know exactly how he feels. Everyday I come home from work and put the fan in the bedroom on full blast.
In my FL apt when I wasn’t running the A/C at night, one cat would sleep on the floor directly beneath the ceiling fan. When we moved to CT the same cat would sleep curled up on the seat of my exercise bike on cold nights, which happened to be over the baseboard heater.
I don’t know about the cats but my Weimaraner knows where every fan and every vent for the AC are in every car and house he lives in and visits. That is where you will find him on hot days. He has taught my parents Great Dane that same trick much to his chagrin, when he visits there every few days. Then he has to jockey for position with a 170lb Dane over a 10" vent. At least my parents have now put at power blower fan next to a vent on the floor for the big guy so even across the room he gets a tornado type breeze.
Well, I bought a package of dried seaweed “wafers” like the ones from yesterday’s strip and I’m snacking as I type this. Verdict: chock full of salty-umami tastiness that could definitely become addicting. Alas, does not make for a very filling breakfast.
Um, why is Lupin shouting if he’s deaf? He wouldn’t be able to hear how loud the fan is, unless the vibrations are incredibly noisy to him, who hasn’t heard actual noise in a while. He got in infection, right?I apologize for my bad grammar, and since I just made a useless comment.

I’d imagine a daring cat of adventure like Lupin would be assisting the woman with her wind duties :)

And still no sign of the “mailman”. So far it looks as though Elvis is right.

That brings to mind the habit of weather reporters to stand out in the wind during hurricanes.
