When I was a child, we had a beautiful Maine coon named Sylvester. He did mind the vacuum. Until my mother accidentally sucked up his tail under the bed. After that, the vacuum was the mortal enemy.

Cats have exceptional hearing, alas not Lupin, & screeching vacuum cleaners must be very painful. Some of the newer models are quieter like the Shark.

I like that the Woman is hold the cord in the first panel. I do that too when I am vacuuming to make sure I don’t run over it.

The vacuum looks like it has teeth under it.
