Why does it often seem we have MORE leftovers on Friday than feast on Thursday? Oh well, plenty of blessings! And we have our little fuzz-balls to assist in “putting it away”!Wishing a fun and frustration-less Friday to Georgia’s world (that means YOU!) >^..^< :-)))
After we slice the white meat off the breast we break the turkey carcass to get it into the pressure cooker and cook until the meat is falling off the bones and the broth is perfect. Then the leftovers are ready for casseroles and Turkey a la King.
The ham sharing is still going on. Itty bitty ham shares here too. No turkey this year but the portion size for kitties is XXXXSmall but it is put on repeat whenever there are kitty shares. Even the 95lb dog gets small size portions. No choking and not a lot of people food. Gotta keep them healthy but also keep them from slitting your throat while you sleep too:)
If your kitty just HAS to be on the stove, try investing in double-stick tape. When burners are cold & you’re pretty sure kitty has plans to jump, tape the dickens all over the stove top. NO LIKEY ON THE TOESIES! May take a few sessions, but cats often get the message. Double stick is less likely to end up on paws than putting long loops of single-side tape.
NOTE! If you have a tape-eater like Lupin, keep the spritzer bottle handy!

Well of course Elvis will be assisting the Woman in the kitchen, how would people manage without feline supervision :)
I like Puck’s measurement of up to his whiskers in leftovers. I still have turkey in the freezer from our Thanksgiving in October

Love Pucky holding on to the Man in the last panel. That itty bitty kitty turkey is going nowhere other than Puck’s tummy!

Leftovers are the best part of the feast. We all got together at a restaurant this year, so no leftovers.
