It has been a few weeks since I had a question. There was a thread on yesterday’s strip were ages came up so I thought I would do a survey question to see what the ages of the people who post here are. If you are willing to share you age or appropriate age post it here. I will start. I am 51, though it hardly seems possible.
I also wanted to post about the shelter contest that was mentioned yesterday too. I know Shaunnmunn was having problems so I thought I would post another link that would hopefully work, https://www.shelterchallenge.com/shelterchallenge/contest/match/36214/2799 this should take you to the main page for the contest where you can see all the shelters you can vote for. If you sort by most voted for Purrfect Pals is third right now, or you can search for your local shelter if you want.
I am hearing Lupin giving those quick little “Fft! Ffft!” hisses as he beats up the vacuum. Which is probably how People would hear what he’s actually saying, now that I think about it.
HAVE AT THEE!!! I love it! My Sabrina used to HATE the carpet sweeper even more than the vacuum and I am sure she shouted that at it more than a few times. Oh, and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY GEORGIA AND RYAN!
Panel 1, the vacuum cleaner is surprised. Panel 3, the vacuum cleaner has an ow, ow, ow face. Lol! Go Lupin! And, Elvis? Go faster. Can’t wait for Pucky’s exploration of…The Lair!
I well know that look of exasperation on the Woman’s face in panel 3. I wore it often when dealing with Mozart though with him it was because he was a few pennies short rather than the non-stop adventurer that Lupin is :)
The poor woman looks so exasperated. “Lupin, PLEASE. I just want to vacuum. ” ) What pet lover hasn’t been witness to this vacuum stand off position? Our Bogie wants to kill the vacuum. Because It’s personal. Because he is Bogie……Lol!
Happy Caturday & Birthday to all. Meant to ask the question yesterday when “The Streak” was being discussed. (the timing was so perfect since was bingeing on them on youtube.) What is your favorite Ray Stevens song? Mine is The MIssissippi Squirrel Revival and Everything is Beautiful. Somehow i forgot that Ray wrote that one.
Thank you for all of the well wishes!! I have to confess though—today is not our anniversary (that was such a good guess though!) I put the heart for another important day—Today is my mother’s birthday!!! And I knew she would be reading in our hometown newspaper, The Westerly Sun!
And so, happy birthday Mom! (I know she reads it here through the FB posts too sometimes). She is “it’s a none of your business, Georgia” years young today! And I wish her many, many more!
I had a post come up yesterday on Facebook were I shared the strip from a year ago on the 27th which had Lupin battling the vacuum in a more spontaneous attack.
50! And to anybody who this may pertain to, I share this: I wasted a big chunk of my 49th year being stressed about turning 50. But 50 has turned out to be the best year of my life so far!!! SO don’t fret. Its really not so bad and I look forward to 60 and beyond now!
I must be weird – feel a bit sorry for the vacuum cleaner. Maybe Puck will end up making friends with the vacuum cleaner? He’s such a sweetie – if anyone would, it would be Puck.
I’ve talked to the receptionist at the vet clinic a couple of times today. Dee is doing much better. This morning, he was starting to attempt to eat on his own (have to find out what they’re giving him, if he’s eating without a fight) but he was still having trouble maintaining his body heat. Now he’s bouncing off the walls, fighting with everything that moves, and giving loves! Hopefully that means he has turned the corner and will be able to come home. Unfortunately, the vet who admitted him won’t be in until midnight, so I can’t get my baby until tomorrow.

NO, PUCK! The vacuum cleaner might defeat Lupin, and then come back and trap you in its lair.

Pucky wants to see what a vacuum’s living conditions are like—background investigatory research. Happy Caturday all!

Lupin has undressed to do battle. This whole operation would have a better chance of success if Beatrix were involved.
