Georgia gives us the best Halloween specials! The spooky message is so heartwarming….samsesies to all for sure!

I sure wish there was a radio that could connect me to messages from my animal companions who have crossed the rainbow bridge. Although perhaps to my adult human ears it would only sound like meowing?

For realzies!

I misread “Samesies” as “Siameses” for a second there.

Look at all those happy kitties! ♥

First thought after them waiting all year for one shot at sending a message: “Well, that was a really important message!” Then, about two seconds later, “Wait, that is a really important message!”

Ouija boards say “Good Bye” at the bottom. This very special spectral one says “Bye Bye” and has a black cat between the words!

This is just so sweet, maybe I can sleep now without any weird dreams.

Cats are very sensitive creatures. As I was reading this wonderful strip… I thought of all my cats who went on to greener fields. When I began to wonder if the humans would be allowed to join them… one of my cats began to clean the hand that was cuddled up to her to keep her warm. Somehow this told me… yep… the Afterlife has cats! :)

D’aww! :) For those who missed it last year, here’s my ouija board story: We put an old ouija board under a Lionel train transformer to keep it from scorching the carpet in the living room. Worked great, but the trains kept switching themselves on… :)

Here’s a Wikipedia answer in case I’m not the only ignorant one: “Remote communications outlets are remote aviation band radio transceivers, established to extend the communication capabilities of Flight Information Centres and flight service stations. Puckmosis: We need to show them to the Queen at once!

I will now seal up this scroll and have the Papyrus Cat deliver it to the Great Pyramid.

Having a wonderful time! Glad that you’re not here! Yet.

The good news is my power is back on. The bad news is my DVR is dead as a doornail! (Didn’t know ever doornails were living.) I can’t get through the ask the cable company to find out if there is some sort of reset button I can push. If they have to replace it, that means I’ve lost all the shows I’ve saved up to watch.

This is more like Día de los Muertos than Halloween, isn’t it?

We celebrate dia de los Muertos here in South Texas. I include pictures of the pets I have had throughout my lifetime. It is a chance to enjoy them again. I only want to go to Heaven if I get to hang out with them, again.

Like the song says, when die I want to live on the outskirts of heaven. I don’t need streets of gold, my heaven would be beautiful, peaceful green mountains and fields filled with flowers, and animals everywhere.

You know…there aren’t enough ghost stories that are just the ghosts coming to say hi because they missed their buddies in the living world. :)

The movie, Coco, gives a wonderful image of the afterlife. I had always thought that Dia Los Muertos was just the Mexican version of Halloween. It’s not. I think All Hallows Eve is closer to it, not Halloween.

So today as their day is appropriate. I was once a member of the League of Extraordinary Modelers, the mascot of which was a lemur (L. E. M. ur.) so I’m rather fond of these primates.

This may be a reference to the symbol of a bear paw that represented good luck to some Amerind peoples, and having the cook make them was very good luck. It may also be a reference to the fact that doughnuts are bear attractants pare excellence—regardless of the definition of “bear.” I expect Gent to arrive momentarily …

National Candy Corn Day: Over ~200,000,000 pounds sold annually—the stuff is short-term addictive, no one can eat just one. I wonder if this could be the “toebean methadone” …

Sugar Addiction Awareness Day: Yes, it is addictive. Ahnald wasn’t far wrong when he called it “the other heroin.” Humans are probably genetically wired to have a love and desire for sweet foods, a lasting curse from our primate ancestors. I’m not diabetic, I hope never to be—but it is a constant struggle. If you don’t have a “sweet tooth,” consider yourself blessed.

Haunted Refrigerator Night: Never mind under the bed, something in the back of the fridge is drooling … Either that is sauerkraut … When did we last have sauerkraut? … or Chthulu is taking a nap in there

I love this cartoon so much that I am adopting a cat from the Humane Society. It’s been a while since I have had a cat and the adventures of our cat news team made me realize that I wanted another cat!
