But is it the deadly pumpkin concoction or is it a legit food for aging carnivores? Inquiring folks want to know.

The Woman got that new “Health” food because she wants you guys around as long as possible.

Definitely a mistake on The Woman’s part. She just didn’t read the label before she bought it.

You’re as young as you feel you are. Elvis probably isn’t as young as he thinks he is.

“Advanced age?” How rude! It’s almost like the manufacturers think that cats can’t read!

The heavy pumpkin content points to Soulistics. I only had one cat who would eat any of their recipes.

That label and Elvis’ reaction are telling.

Come on guys, there’s a cat food shortage, it’s probably the only kind she could find. I have to go on that quest today. I know not to sneak different brands or flavors into the mix though. Thankfully we have 10+ places I can shop within a 20 minute radius.

Wow there is a cat food shortage. Was just on local grocery store website (fairly large chain), looked up what nearest store normally keeps stocked either in store or available online. About 145 different Fancy Feast products. Counted what was out of stock – came up with 80 different products!

How old are the other three?

There are “Senior Cat foods” that start at age 7! Our 3 cats are all 10 or slightly older. I’ve tried a few out on Roy, since Poody and Pickles to a lesser degree will eat anything they think might be food. He’s refused every single one so far and continues to eat his regular “Fancy Beast” He is not ready for “Old cats food” and he still insists on climbing the bed curtains like a kitten and swatting anyone who doesn’t pay him attention way up there.

Meanwhile, my girl Jez would be saying “quit reading the label and open the dang thing, already!”.

The comic started in May 2014 with 3 cats. Any of the first 3 cats are close to 10 if not over 10.
