Well, it’s usually got a whole lot of ups and downs, but you shouldn’t buy the ticket if you don’t want to go for the ride.

Wow…. you mean you can refuse to buy a ticket?Wish I’d done that, and just kept my feet on the ground.

    Morning, Beviek!

And Matt - that was strange about yesterday. Right now your comment is quite visible.Posts usually appear immediately, no matter the “clock time” where they’re read or written. There’s no reason I can think of that yours had a delay — and when it did finally become visible, it was in it’s rightful place in the queue. If you could see it when the rest of us couldn’t, you must have felt like a ghost in one of those old cartoons. :)BTW, the next day’s strips come out about 10:15pm here in California, which is 6:15 am in the UK (as long as we’re both on daylight saving or summer time.)

They should have gone on the Stoic coaster; it has it’s ups and downs but you don’t feel them as much.

^ or the Stoli coaster.SusanS and Matt, I wonder if, the spammers from a while back made them start holding everyone’s first post here to make sure they were legit users.

They could’ve made the coaster end on an up.

awww shucks guys. You’re making me blush. Thanks for the welcoming. I promise I won’t just lurk anymore and try to be half as witty as Susan has at figuring these comics out.

Larry — I haven’t seen any truly commercial spam on GoComics since I joined a year ago. Have I missed something?About all I’ve seen is a few (mostly very inept) would-be cartoonists and bloggers enjoining us to visit other sites to view their feeble oeuvre, which gets flagged by annoyed fellow posters when it gets out of hand…. (and NO Number Six, I am NOT including those like you whose work is professional and welcome!)On Comics.com the seemingly sole (and quite beleaguered) moderator/admin was unable to stem the tide of designer knock-off and faux pharmaceutical offerings, but I’ve never seen even one on this site…I have noticed times that comments prior to mine aren’t visible to me when I post or for some minutes afterward — but not all night. You and I are often of different forums…. what else has been going on?
